Current Communities
Over the decades, the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda has grown its portfolio to include over 840 affordable rental homes with an additional 700+ homes currently in its development/acquisition pipeline. These homes are owned by AHA directly or by one of its affiliates, Island City Development (ICD) and Alameda Affordable Housing Corporation (AHHC).
Other properties listed are partnerships between AHA and a private developer. These are properties where AHA has provided project-based vouchers, land, funding or is a special limited partner. AHA has also partnered with non-profit developers in Alameda to create more affordable housing.
AHA’s role includes land ownership, co-ownership and/or Project based Vouchers. None of these housing communities would be possible without support from community stakeholders which include City of Alameda government, City of Alameda residents, AHA staff, and business partnerships with numerous funders and builders.
