Available Rentals

Language Access Plan (LAP)/Limited English Proficient (LEP)
AHA will provide language assistance services to persons with LEP to reduce barriers to affordable housing.

Pet Policy
Property Management Office Policies
Property management applicants and tenants are encouraged to contact the property manager to make appointments to ensure your needs are met. All property offices have their business hours posted outside of their main door. If you have any questions call or email them directly.

Reasonable Accommodations

Recertifications
Property management is responsible for completing annual income certifications. This is separate from the income certification that is completed by the assigned AHA Housing Specialist.
Rental Payments
Rent is due on the 1st of each month and considered late after the 5th day of the month. If the 5th day of the month falls on a weekend or a holiday, rent will be due the following morning. All rent payments should be turned in at the property manager’s office of the housing community. If payments are submitted to the incorrect location or after the grace period, a late fee will be applied.
Check or money order are the only accepted forms of payment.

Social Services
LifeSTEPS staff can connect AHA residents and program participants to important social services and resources including the Alameda Food Bank, Medical Services, Rental Assistance, Transportation, Recreation and Trade School Scholarships, just to name a few.
