    On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month, the City of Alameda Recreation and Parks department provides afterschool recreation activities for AHA youth (ages 5-18) in the courtyard at Esperanza Housing Community (1903 Third Street).     This fall get your high school student to the “Diplomas to Degrees” Center at the Alameda Boys and Girls Club.  The “Diplomas to Degrees” Center helps Alameda Unified School District (AUSD) high school students prepare for vocational training and/or college after graduating high school.
