2021 Emergency Housing Vouchers – June 2021

Over 70,000 vouchers were granted to public housing authorities across the country via the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, which was approved by the Federal Government and is administered by the Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD). The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda (AHA) is set to receive 57 of those Emergency Housing Vouchers to help prevent and end homelessness in the City of Alameda.

AHA OFFICES CLOSED

Please note that the Housing Authority main office (located at 701 Atlantic Avenue) will be closed on Thursday, June 18th and Friday, June 19th.   The main office will return to the normal daily schedule (8:30am to 4pm) on Monday, June 22nd.
