The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda owns and manages multiple complexes and condominiums around the Island. We maintain waiting lists for all of our properties so that as units become vacant we have a ready list of interested applicants. Please note that we cannot predict how long anyone will be on a waiting list before housing becomes available and applicants are only added to wait lists when the wait lists are open. We strive to provide quality housing and a high level of customer service to the residents of our properties. If your unit is in need of maintenance or repair, please click on Maintenance for instructions on reporting any issues that need attention.

Property management applicants and tenants are seen by appointment only; no drop-in visits to our office are allowed.

As a reminder, rents are due on the 1st of each month and considered late after the 5th. If the 5th falls on a weekend or a holiday, residents will have one extra business day to turn in rents without incurring a late charge.

All rent payments should be turned in at the managers office of the complex Tenants reside in.

We recognize that these are unusual times due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Your safety and ours is very important to us! Management Offices are open for limited/essential business only and we are practicing social distancing as recommended by multiple public health agencies: 

1. All business that does not require face-to-face contact should be handled by phone or email.

2. In-person appointments can be made by calling or emailing the Property Manager.

3. When visiting the office, all persons must wear a face covering.

4. If you need an exception to any of these protocols as a reasonable accommodation due to a disability, let us know by phone, e-mail, mail or by knocking on the door for assistance.

5. If you choose to drop off your rent in person, please place it in the Drop Box or slip it under the office door.
