Jack Capon Villa
2216 Lincoln Avenue – Coming Soon! Housing Consortium of the East Bay's ("HCEB") and Satellite Housing (“Satellite”) in conjunction with the Alameda Housing Authority is developing Jack Capon Villa which will be approximately 19 rental units of affordable housing for developmentally disabled adults at 2216 Lincoln Avenue. Updates will be posted as we have them.
Residential Project at Grand Marina
Grand Marina Village, is a waterfront community of 40 single family detached homes by Grand Marina Associates, LP. The development is located at the estuary end of Grand Street adjacent to Grand Marina. Construction of the homes is due to be completed in the Spring of 2012.
Shinsei Gardens Apartments
Resources for Community
Development, a non-profit housing developer, in partnership with the
City of Alameda, Operation Dignity and Alameda Housing Authority,
has developed a new 39-unit affordable apartment complex within the
Bayport Community at 401 Wilver "Willie" Stargell Avenue.
Construction began in summer 2008 and is now complete. For more

A Mixed-Use Project Approved by City of Alameda, Not Yet Under
Construction A new mixed-use project has
obtained entitlements from the City of Alameda, but is not yet under
construction: Alameda Landing, a new mixed-use
development, will include 300 new residential units, of which
25% will be affordable. Alameda Landing will be on the 77-acre
site of the Navy's former Fleet Industrial Supply Center at the
foot of Fifth Street. The project will include 30 acres of
housing, 20 acres of office space, 8 acres of open space,
300,000 square feet of retail and a 20,000 square foot health
club.
Although this project has been approved by
the City of Alameda, construction has not yet started.

Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) has two programs for assisting folks in need of help with
their electric bills. One program is a match-fund program should you have a shut off notice, and one program
