CDBG Funded Resources
The City of Alameda is an entitlement recipient of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). CDBG funds finance programs and activities that benefit low- and moderate-income persons and households (80% Area Median Income and below), while helping prevent or eliminate slums and blight. To receive CDBG funding, the City must address the housing and community development needs identified in the Five-Year Strategic Plan for the period of July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2020.
