The Island City Development seeks proposals from qualified general contractors for the construction of the three projects at North Housing Block A, located at 501 Mosley Avenue in the City of Alameda, California (Project(s)). The project is expected to start construction in December 2022. An initial preconstruction contract may be signed for the following services:
       1) Provide inputs to the Owner and the Architect related to constructability, costs implications, and value engineering.
       2) Provide cost estimating, which may include but not limited to the following phases:
               a. Schematic Design Package
               b. Design Development Package
               c. Building Permit Package
               d. Construction Document or Bid Package

There is a scheduled pre-bid site walk of the project, weather permitting, on November 17, 2021 at 10:00AM (PST). Submit interest to Senior Project Manager Tony Weng, tweng@alamedahsg.org, and copy Senior Project Manager Allyson Ujimori, aujimori@alamedahsg.org, by November 16, 2021 at 4:00 PM (PST). 

Questions must be e-mailed to Tony Weng, Senior Project Manager at tweng@alamedahsg.org with a copy to Allyson Ujimori, Senior Project Manager at aujimori@alamedahsg.org by November 23, 2021 at 3:00 PM (PST) . Please use the subject line “North Housing Block A GC RFQ - Questions.” A list of questions asked and the answers will be posted.

Proposals must be submitted by email to Tony Weng, tweng@alamedahsg.org and copy Allyson Ujimori, aujimori@alamedahsg.org by December 14, 2021 at 3:00 PM (PST) . Subject of the email should be labeled “North Housing Block A GC RFQ Proposal by [proposer’s name].”
